You may have often missed your friends birthday or any important meet/appointment when you are out of town or any other busy work when not able to see your Facebook or Orkut account, gmail calender.
Here is solution for this so that in future you may never miss a birthday of your friends/buddies.
The solution lies inside Google Calender free sms/email reminder service. Just go to google calender and enable your sms & email alerts service also not forget to set the time when you want reminders unless it will send sms by default on morning 5:30 am . As it sends the sms as per GMT 00:00 hrs time which means as per india time zone it is gmt+5:30 hrs.
If you dont want headache to edit all reminders time you can simply edit in main reminder setting as 8-9 hrs before , so that it will send you reminder on one day before on 8 or 9 pm(as you want).
How to export your facebook calender birthdays to gmail – This is the solution:
In your facebook home page first click on events then click on birthdays (below) then click on export just below then after a pop will open then select & copy the link mentioned in the pop up.
Now open your google calender by login and in “other calenders option” click on drop down menu and select as “add by URL” and the paste the link inside this. Now your facebook calender has been configure to Gmail.
Now open Google calenders settings and select mobile setting and fill the details as mentioned in the page.
You can also configure notification both by mail & sms.
Now you cant say to your friends that you have forgot their birthday.
